Booking Terms
Everything below is how I work every wedding. Your own details, dates, and pricing live in the email I sent you. If anything here doesn't fit your day, tell me and we'll figure it out.
Holding your date
The deposit is what locks it in. Once it lands, your date is yours and I stop taking other inquiries for it. I only book one wedding a day.
Paying
You can send the balance any time up to 14 days before. If it's easier to settle on the day, cash is what I ask for. Either way I'll send a reminder the week before so it isn't one more thing to remember.
The day of
I get there an hour early to set up and warm up.
Weddings run long, and I'm not going to pack up and walk out when they do. The first 15 minutes past my end time are on me. After that it's $150 per half hour, and I'll check with whoever's coordinating before that clock starts. It goes on an invoice afterward, so nobody's talking money at your reception.
Power
I bring my own keyboard and the speaker it runs through. All I need is a grounded outlet within 25 feet of where I'm set up.
Your music
Send your list whenever you've got it, and the final version 30 days out. Two songs I don't already play are included. I'll learn them and write the arrangement, no extra charge.
Travel
Anywhere in the North Jersey and NYC metro area is included. If you're further out I'll tell you before you book, never after.
If you need to move the date
Ask more than 60 days out and your deposit moves with you, once, to any open date in the next 12 months. If I'm already booked that day, or we can't find one that works, the deposit comes back to you in full.
If you cancel
More than 60 days out, your deposit comes back in full. Inside 60 days I keep it, since by then I've turned away everyone else who asked about your date.
If something happens on my end
If I can't make it for something serious, I'll find you a pianist I'd trust with my own wedding at no extra cost to you, and I'll send you their playing so you have the final say. If I can't find someone, everything you've paid comes back. Either way, what I owe you is capped at what you've paid me.
Photos and audio
I might use photo, video, or audio I record myself to show what I do. Nothing unflattering, and nothing within 60 days of your wedding so your own photos get to land first. If you'd rather I didn't, just say so and that's that.
Afterward
I record most ceremonies. If yours comes out well I'll send you the audio, and it's yours to keep.
If something here doesn't fit your day, just email me at isaacezekielmusic@gmail.com and we'll sort it out.
